Specialised in road traffic sign installation, Walker Sign Erectors were established in 1995 and became a Ltd company in 1999. The company has grown and has been involved in some of the UK's largest motorway signage contracts.
Based in Winsford Cheshire, this location has been ideal due to its central location and excellent infrastructure links to major roads and the motorway network.
From a base group of four site operatives we now directly employ twenty five staff; nineteen of which are site operatives and a management team of six to ensure that there is the necessary support to provide an efficient and effective service. We pride ourselves as being seen as a very reliable company and flexible to our client’s requests, this is reflected in the company being involved in several flagship projects over the last few years including Birmingham Box Managed Motorways Scheme phases 2 and 3, the M4/M5 Managed Motorway Scheme, M6 J10a-13 Managed Motorway All Lane Running, M1 Smart Motorways projects and Manchester Smart Motorways.
